About the Role

As a Senior Marketing Executive (Consultant), you will develop and own marketing plans, campaigns and content programmes that fully align with commercial priorities and sales plans to support growth and ambitions for our business units, sectors or product lines. You will manage a team to execute brand awareness, recruitment, and lead generation activities, report progress to stakeholders, and build strong relationships with internal partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage strategy, plans and budgets—create, own and implement marketing strategy and plan aligned to commercial priorities, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Own the marketing budget for your domain.
* Own, create and activate campaigns and content—guide creation of marketing assets to drive brand awareness, support recruitment and generate leads. Deploy campaigns across channels such as eDM, automation, webinars, organic and paid social, SEO, digital advertising and physical events.
* Reporting, accountability and ROI—measure marketing effectiveness, report on campaigns and activities, optimising performance and cascading learnings within the team.>
* Strategic alliances with partners—develop relationships with key partners (e.g., Workday, Microsoft, AWS) to shape plans, stay abreast of trends and identify commercial opportunities.
* Team collaboration and development—collaborate with the marketing team to deliver overall OKRs, coach and develop staff, manage performance, and support their career development.
Minimum (Essential) Requirements
* Significant relevant experience in marketing.
li>Professional qualification in marketing or a specialised area (e.g., CIM).
* Experience developing and implementing end‑to‑end marketing, brand or communications campaigns that drive business results.
* Demonstrable experience with eDM, automation, webinars, social media, SEO, digital advertising and physical events.
* Experience working with sales/SDR teams to generate leads and support pipeline.
* Experience using CRM and marketing automation tools.
* Self‑starter who is highly motivated, confident, disciplined and driven to succeed while upholding Kainos values.
* Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment with a can‑do attitude.
* Resilience and persistence with the ability to learn from mistakes.
* Capacity to manage workload of self and team in a competitive, pressurised environment and meet deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to cultivate ideas, write creatively while adhering to brand and messaging direction.
* Ability to think ‘outside the box’.
* Compliance with confidentiality and non‑disclosure policies and security of information.
Desirable
* Degree or higher in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
* Experience managing people or small teams.
* Experience owning marketing or content for a specific business, product or project.
* PR understanding and ability to write press releases and liaise with media.
* Event management and project‑management experience.
* Understanding of generating leads and managing them through qualification.
* Knowledge of the technology industry and trends to shape plans and content.
