Multi- skilled electrical maintenance engineer

Are you an electrical maintenance engineer looking for a new challenge? Due to the introduction of a new line, we are expanding the current maintenance team. Ideally, we are looking for a Multi-Skilled engineer with a electrical bias, but we are open to speaking to electrically biased engineers too.
With a very settled team this role is available to a recent promotion to engineering team leader.

Over the last couple of years the site have recently installed a new CMMS system and stores, with new lines and an overhaul project recently completed.
While this is a fast paced food manufacturing environment, we will consider engineers from all backgrounds, including engineers exiting the forces.

Responsibilities of a multi-skilled electrical maintenance engineer:

* Both reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed packing machinery.
* Undertake machine start up routine and non-routine planned shutdown as required.
* To undertake full diagnosis and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
* To communicate machine status and performance across shift.
* Working in partnership with the production team and ensuring optimum output.

Qualifications required to become an electrical maintenance engineer:

1. Time served or Apprentice Trained Engineer.
2. NVQ, BTEC, City and Guilds Level 3 either Mechanically or Electrically
