About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated andpassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school setting in Rugby.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access education, build confidence, and develop essential life skills in a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs
2. Support students with ASD, SEMH, MLD andplex needs
3. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
4. Support behaviour management and emotional regulation
5. Encourage independence, social skills and personal development
6. Help maintain a safe, positive and structured learning environment
What you'll need to succeed
7. Experience working with children or young people with SEN
8. Patient, resilient and empathetic approach
9. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
10. Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
11. Passion for supporting individuals with additional needs
