We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our friendly team on a 12-month fixed-term basis to provide maternity cover. About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a small, supportive team where your contribution will make a real impact. You’ll play a key role in keeping our finance processes running smoothly, while also supporting general administrative activities across the business. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone who is organised, reliable, and enjoys working both independently and collaboratively. You will ideally have: AAT Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) Previous experience using SAGE or similar accounting software Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Strong organisational and time management skills The ability to prioritise tasks and use your initiative A professional and clear telephone manner A high level of discretion when handling confidential information A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a small team environment Key Responsibilities Processing supplier invoices using SAGE Preparing and arranging supplier payments via Bankline Raising customer invoices using our in-house system (Espo) Performing bank and credit card reconciliations Completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations Monitoring and allocating incoming customer payments Maintaining accurate and organised financial records Providing general administrative support Handling incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Workplace pension scheme Private medical cover Cycle to Work scheme 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) A welcoming and supportive working environment in an attractive location
