The Position
We are looking for a friendly and confident optometrist to join the team on a part-time basis, with a commitment of 2-3 days a week. The ideal candidate will be able to provide exceptional care to both NHS and private patients while maintaining a good balance of clinical and commercial awareness. The role offers competitive pay of up to £55,000 (FTE), a bonus scheme, pension scheme, and other benefits. Testing times are typically 25-30 minutes, with pre-screening done for the optometrist to streamline the process. There is also the opportunity for the optometrist to work in collaboration with a CLO in the store, making it an ideal environment for professional development.

The practice is ideally looking for someone local to the area in Romford. The role is based in a well-connected location with convenient travel links.

Requirements
* GOC registered (or ability to register)
* Strong clinical and commercial awareness
* Experience with a variety of optometric equipment, such as Focimeters, Slit Lamps, Trial Frames, Retinoscopes, and more
* Experience in myopia management and diabetic screening (desirable)
* Ideally based locally (but not essential) Candidates who do not meet the above criteria may not be considered for this role.
