Rotational Pharmacy Technician Progressive 4/5
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, well‑motivated Pharmacy Technician – either soon to be or registered – with excellent dispensing and communication skills. The role is part of a 2‑year rotational training programme designed to develop a portfolio of evidence mapped from the APTUK Foundation Pharmacy Framework, with the aim of progressing to Band 5 upon successful completion.
Minimum 30 hrs per week is required for part‑time work.
Location: The post holder will work across the Bournemouth and Poole hospital sites, with rotation at Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospitals.
Commencement of employment is subject to registration with the GPhC.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the pharmacy services across the Trust and should be adaptable to new situations, confident working independently and as part of a team.
We welcome applications from candidates who have completed their initial education & training in any area of pharmacy, including acute hospital, GP surgery, community pharmacy or primary care.
We are open to discussions on flexible working, part‑time, and job‑share opportunities. Staff for this role are required to work late nights, weekends, and bank holidays on a rotational basis to support seven‑day working.
