The ideal candidate will be an ambitious professional with the ability to provide support to students with special needs within the care of the Teaching Assistant to enable them to gain maximum benefit from the curriculum, integrate with other students and adjust to and cope with the day-to-day experiences of life in a secondary academy. As a key member of the team, you will work with children to assist with the development of communication, reading and writing skills, basic educational skills and general curriculum activities as directed by the teacher or SENDCO.
