Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for a Team Manager for the Children and Young People Disability Team to join Medway’s Children’s Services.

As a key member of the Children and Young People Disability Team, you will:
9. Lead, manage, and motivate a team including an Assistant Team Manager, Senior Practitioner, Social Workers, and Family Support Workers
10. Oversee safeguarding and CIN plans, manage court cases, and ensure best practice in statutory work
11. Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary professionals in SEND and the Integrated Care Board (ICB)
12. Champion relationship-based practice and embed the Signs of Safety model
13. Drive continuous improvement and support career progression within the team
What we are looking for in a Team Manager:
14. A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, PGC, CQSW, DipSW or equivalent)
15. Registration with Social Work England
16. Extensive post-qualifying experience, including professional supervision
17. Strong knowledge of disability-related grants and experience working with disabled children in a statutory setting
18. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
