Location: Southend
Role type: Permanent role: Mon to Wed 6.30am - 4.30pm and Thursday 6.30am to 3.30pm. This may change to a 5 day shift covering the same hours in the future.

Key Responsibilities
As a Powder Coat Sprayer, you will play a crucial role in the application of powder coatings to various products. Your expertise in powder coating techniques and equipment operation will ensure the delivery of high-quality finished products. You will work closely with the production team to meet customer requirements and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. In this role, you will impact the quality and appearance of our products, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of Honeywell.
* Apply powder coatings to products using spray equipment
* Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning and pre-treating as necessary
* Monitor and adjust coating parameters to achieve desired results
* Inspect finished products for quality Standards
* Maintain and clean spray equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Work to relevant processes and procedures.
* Carry out activities in line with company procedures and process standard of work.
* Completion of First Offs and Quality Assurance Paperwork
* Ensure efficient running of the Paint Plant
* Identify improvements.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Are you a self-motivated, proactive person who enjoys maintaining high-quality standards, problem solving and working in a committed team?
* Previous experience as a powder coat sprayer (or similar role) with knowledge of powder coating techniques and equipment operation
* Must be proactive towards improvement ideas/programs.
* Must be fully committed to achieving the team's objectives and targets.
* Work overtime as and when required
