Title: Senior Bookkeeper Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time (Monday - Friday) Location: Inverness Details: Due to continued expansion, our client is looking to appoint a Senior Bookkeeper to be based in Inverness. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills and knowledge of Accounting in a professional office setting while gaining experience in multiple finance software systems. Duties include: Bookkeeping and preparation of statutory client accounts. Reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Compilation and submission of VAT returns. Payroll and CIS filings. Liaising with clients. Updating and maintaining accurate client accounts records. Person Specification: Previous accounts/bookkeeping experience is preferred. Applicants must have an aptitude for learning and the desire to progress a career within an accountancy & finance environment. Ability to operate effectively with accuracy and attention to detail. Strong IT skills including MS office and financial software systems. Ability to pick up new skills quickly. A willingness to learn and undertake a range of training and development programmes is required.
