The Role
As a Multi Skilled Engineer, youll work across electrical and mechanical systems including PLCs, CNCs, and automation. From breakdown response and PPMs to process optimisation and new equipment commissioning, this role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise downtime
* Deliver PPMs, fault-finding and compliance checks
* Support new equipment installations and commissioning
* Maintain safety, risk assessments, permits, and audit-ready documentation
* Work with production teams to improve processes and boost performance
* Provide technical support on PLCs, controls, and electrical systems
What Were Looking For
* City & Guilds / BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
* 18th Edition qualified
* Strong knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics and welding (TIG/MMA)
* Skilled in fault-finding, compliance, and documentation
* IT confident (Excel, Word, PPM systems)
* Additional training (IOSH, IPAF, confined spaces, HACCP) desirable
