Fawkes & Reece are currently working with an esteemed Tier One Housing client who is seeking an experienced Temporary Section Manager to join a residential project based in Cardiff.
This is a freelance opportunity running for approximately 12-15 weeks, with a start date of 1st June.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance across key internal packages, ensuring works are completed to a high standard and in line with programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* QA inspections on:
o Drylining
o 1st Fix M&E
o 1st Fix Carpentry
o AECB / Air Testing is preferable
* Monitoring quality standards across site activities
* Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams
* Ensuring compliance with project specifications and building regulations
* Supporting site management with reporting and snagging processes
Requirements
* Proven experience working as a Section Manager on residential developments
* Strong QA and finishing experience
* Experience with AECB / Air Testing is preferable
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred
Package
* 280 - 300 per day
* Temporary contract
* Approx. 12-15 weeks duration
* Immediate start available from 1st June
