Technical Analyst Location: Chester (full-time, on-site) Contract: 12 months Salary: £52,500 per annum Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm Shifts: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday (set rota) The Role Join a large, globally recognised financial services organisation supporting critical banking and payments infrastructure used by millions of customers. This is a proactive monitoring and analysis role (not incident management), focused on identifying issues early and escalating risks before customer impact occurs. What You'll Do Monitor infrastructure dashboards across data centres and cloud environments Use Splunk and alerting tools to identify abnormal system behaviour Understand service and component dependencies and flag potential risks Coordinate bridges and communications during live production issues Support real-time production changes and extensions Monitor ATM infrastructure and customer sentiment via third-party tools What We're Looking For Experience in a technical analyst, monitoring, or operations role Working knowledge of Windows, Unix/Linux, cloud, and basic networking Confident using technical language and communicating with stakeholders Comfortable working a shift-based rota, including weekends Candidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV to be considered please click the "apply" button.
