Role Overview:
As a National Account Manager, you will develop and execute strategic commercial plans for key Cash & Carry and Travel retail customers, building long-term partnerships, driving sales, and achieving volume and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead relationships with major Cash & Carry and Travel Retail customers.
* Develop and execute annual business plans and promotional calendars.
* Deliver sales targets, manage forecasting and demand planning.
* Maximise in-depot visibility through activations and POS.
* Manage relationships within the Travel Retail channel and execute promotional plans.
* Negotiate pricing, promotional investments, and commercial terms.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance.
* Use data to inform decisions and identify growth opportunities.
Candidate Profile:
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience managing key national accounts in Cash & Carry (e.g., Booker, Bestway, Unitas, Costco).
* Experience with Travel retail and route-to-market customers.
* Strong negotiation and P&L management skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Self-motivated with initiative and drive.
* Analytical with understanding of the UK spirits market.
* Experience in premium spirits, FMCG, or drinks industry.
* WSET qualification or passion for spirits and drinks.
