About the Role
Are you passionate about Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) practices? We are on the lookout for a dedicated Project SHE Advisor to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in implementing and maintaining an industry-leading Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental management system. You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Project Team, and Clients to tackle SHE issues and foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the project.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Project SHE Advisor, you will be responsible for:
Health and Safety
* Guiding the team to ensure the Safety First and Foremost message resonates in all project activities.
* Supporting the Project Manager in planning and conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with the Company SHE Policy and Procedures.
* Assisting in reporting project SHE performance and maintaining accurate Health and Safety records.
Incident Management
* Investigating SHE-related accidents/incidents and completing reports in line with the 2-2-2 process, ensuring timely communication of learning and corrective actions.
Training and Competence
* Supporting the application of the Health and Safety Management System and ensuring effective communication of campaigns within the Project Team.
Best Practice and Continuous Improvement
* Contributing to the development of processes and solutions for known SHE challenges and reporting innovations to ensure consistency across regions.
Supply Chain Management
* Assisting in Supply Chain SHE performance reviews and ensuring SHE alerts and knowledge shares are communicated effectively.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A solid understanding of Health and Safety legislation and industry-leading best practices.
* Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (OHSAS 45001).
* Strong report writing and IT skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Experience in fostering a safety culture and supporting project teams.
