HGV Class 2 Day Drivers Wanted In Crawley!
Logistics Peopleare looking for HGV Drivers/HGV Class 2 Drivers/LGV Drivers/LGV Class 2 Drivers/Class 1 Drivers working at our Eezehaul Crawley depot.
Eezehaul, a leading logistics provider in the Southeast, is looking for a Class 2 Day Driver to join their team. The company is known for its stable and growing operations, providing competitive and dependable logistics solutions across the UK. They are seeking an experienced or aspiring Class 2 driver to support their friendly team.
*** 12 months of relevant driving experience preferred ***
Location: Crawley
Working Hours:
1. Monday-Friday with rostered Saturdays
2. Varied start times and routes
Pay rates:
3. £31,919 P/a + overtime
Key Responsibilities:
4. Deliver palletised freight across the Southeast and general haulage
5. Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
6. Adhere to driving hours and safety regulations
7. Always present a professional image of the company
8. Complete all paperwork and administrative duties accurately
9. Ensure safe loading/unloading of goods and vehicle security
10. Lead and support other drivers
11. Ensure vehicle checks comply with Health and Safety criteria
12. Be flexible with working hours and weekend shifts (1 in every 6/8 weeks)
About You
13. You should hold a HGV 1/C+E Licence for a minimum of 12 months with a minimum of 6 months UK HGV Class 1 driving experience
14. No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
15. Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
16. Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
17. Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
18. Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
19. Excellent communication skills
