Opportunity
This is a chance for somebody with ~5 years marketing experience to join an exciting young brand disrupting the alcoholic spirits industry. We are looking for someone who is looking to grow with the company, with the ability to shape and execute the company’s marketing strategy. Diistil already works with some of the most exciting venues in London, the company has recently completed a funding round and we are looking for an ambitious marketing professional, reporting directly to the CEO.

We are a London-based spirits brand producing unique distillates and bespoke spirits. Operating from a state-of-the-art lab in London, our team mix innovative thinking with the latest technology to serve up new bespoke flavour experiences that are accessible to all.
We serve our customers in two ways:
· Completely customised co-branded bespoke spirits and distillates. We can distil unique flavours and produce bespoke spirits with only a 50-bottle minimum order.
· Innovative distillates and spirits that solve flavour gaps in the market. Current distillates include Yuzu, Jalapeño, Beetroot, Black Tea, Soy Sauce and Vanilla, and our spirits include Diistil London Dry Gin, with more to come shortly.

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Marketing Manager with a passion for the spirits and hospitality industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of proven marketing experience, with a focus on brand building, digital marketing, and strategic planning. As the Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies that elevate our brand, engage consumers, and drive sales.
Duties and responsibilities
· Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote our brand and products, including digital marketing campaigns, social media strategies, and paid advertising.
· Collaborate with the team to create marketing materials and initiatives that support sales objectives and drive revenue growth.
· Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer preferences, and use insights to inform marketing strategies.
· Manage all aspects of brand messaging, including storytelling, positioning, and communication across various channels.
· Lead the creation of compelling content, including website copy, blog posts, email campaigns, and social media content.
· Work with our PR agency to build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to generate press coverage and enhance brand visibility.
· Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, and use data-driven insights to optimize strategies.
· Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve marketing efforts and maintain a competitive edge.

Ideal Candidates
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- ~5 years’ experience in marketing
- Previous experience working in a start-up environment where everyone pitches for a common goal
- Prior experience in the hospitality/ drinks industry beneficial
- Proficient in Canva, Shopify, HubSpot, Asana, Social media scheduling software and Adobe AI
- Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Hard-working and proactive
- Must have the right to work in the UK
Additional details
- Salary: £40-45k per annum
- Location – Central London (Strand / Covent Garden office)
- Hours – 40 hours / week, Mon-Fri 10am to 6pm, with some flexibility required/available
- Holiday entitlement: 33 days (inclusive of the Bank Holidays)

- Remote work: Possibility for remote work 1 day a week TBC
- Potential for equity participation after 12 months

The post holder may be required to work outside core working hours (as detailed in their contract of employment); for example, to attend product launches and events, to resolve unforeseen problems, to attend emergency situations, or to meet operational demands.
