An experienced individual is required to join an established beauty distribution company (25 employees) based in Elstree, Hertfordshire. The right candidate will be hands‑on with exceptional communication, planning and organisational skills, together with staff management experience and good IT capability (particularly Excel and ideally Sage). This is a full‑time office‑based role.
Key Areas of Responsibility
1) Purchasing/Logistics
Day‑to‑day responsibility for all company purchasing to ensure needs are fulfilled. This involves significant planning for all stock lines as well as managing supplier relationships/contracts for goods and services – both UK and overseas.
2) Stock / Warehouse Management
Day‑to‑day management of stock, ensuring optimum stockholding at all times. Regular review of physical stock and controls to safeguard assets.
3) Customer Service
Oversee all areas of customer service, including order processing and support as well as managing customer complaints and resolutions.
4) Office /IT Management
Day‑to‑day responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of the office.
* Managing all equipment that office and field‑based staff need to carry out their work (e.g. computers/mobile phones – in conjunction with our 3rd party IT/telecoms support partners).
* Managing other office supplies and contractors (e.g. vending machines, air conditioning).
* Oversee Health & Safety requirements of the business and ensure regulations are adhered to.

First‑class communication skills both written & oral, comfortable dealing with staff at all levels as well as customers and suppliers.
Well organised, numerate, meticulous, thorough and with an eye to detail.
Experience working with Microsoft 365, Teams and SharePoint useful.
