Macildowie are partnering exclusively with a growing accountancy practice based in Kettering to recruit a Part-Time Assistant Finance Professional to join their expanding outsourced finance team.

The Role
In this part-time position, you will be responsible for managing key aspects of the day-to-day transactional finance function for a client account. You will help ensure financial processes run smoothly while building strong relationships with both internal teams and the client.
This role offers a great mix of hands-on finance work and client interaction, ideal for someone who enjoys a proactive and varied role within a flexible working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Credit control and debtor management
* Raising and managing project-based invoices
* Processing supplier and subcontractor payments
* Performing financial and system reconciliations
* Liaising with project teams to gather financial data such as timesheets and cost information
* Acting as a key finance contact for the client
You will report into a Senior Accountant, with opportunities to gain exposure to broader accounting work over time.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, or Credit Control role
* Has a strong understanding of transactional finance processes
* Is highly organised and able to manage their workload effectively within part-time hours
* Communicates confidently and enjoys working with both colleagues and clients
