This is a field-based role covering LU down to PO and across to TR – not covering Somerset.
THE JOB: As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for growing the sales of a leading range of medical compression products across both NHS and private healthcare sectors.
* You will be focused on selling and demonstrating the product range in acute and community healthcare settings
* Developing business cases and value-based propositions aligned with NHS objectives
* Securing formulary inclusions, tender wins, and contract placements.
* Key stakeholders include District Nurses, Vascular Consultants, Lymphoedema Specialists, Tissue Viability Nurses and Procurement Teams.
* The role also involves delivering clinical training sessions, attending conferences, supporting product evaluations, strategic territory planning, key account management, and maintaining detailed activity reporting via CRM systems.
* Working closely with internal teams will be crucial to develop local plans, agree engagement strategies, and drive overall sales growth across the territory.
EXPERIENCE:
* We are seeking a medical/healthcare/pharma professional sales individual with a minimum of 2 years’ field sales experience.
* Full driving license
* We will also consider those with a clinical background e.g. nurses, TVN’s looking to get into a commercial sales role.
* Confidence in developing clinical relationships, delivering presentations, and creating commercial value is essential.
* An understanding of the NHS structure, supply routes, reimbursement mechanisms, and experience of securing formulary listings would be advantageous.
* You must be a tenacious team player with strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently within a field-based environment.

THE PACKAGE FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:
· Basic Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
· Bonus: £10,000+ uncapped
