ABOUT THE ROLE
Your role as a Senior Care Assistant will involve supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and records are updated accordingly.
* Participating in person-centred care planning, implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development where needed.
* Serving as a key contact for residents, their relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring that reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated appropriately.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed in this role, you will embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability in all that you do.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
* Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Possess a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
