Adaptations Surveyor – Permanent
Based within the Merseyside area, you will work home‑based with no daily office requirement but will cover the North West, traveling to offices for anchor days and meetings as needed.
Role Purpose
The role supports the Delivery and Adaptations Team to ensure consistently high standards of quality control through onsite technical assessment, drawing preparation and specification adherence, while maintaining robust health and safety standards in compliance with legislation.

Key Responsibilities
* Data recording – maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records for capital work per policies and procedures
* Contract management – prepare defect schedules, monitor performance, produce payment valuations, oversee financial management of projects
* Quality control – supervise to maintain high quality through site visits, assess quality control aspects
* System administration – manage work orders, payments and project administration
* Partnership working – set up stakeholder communications register
* Health and safety – ensure compliance with CDM and associated legislation
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience
* Track record of managing programmes to high quality and performance standards
* Technical competence and demonstrable knowledge of building construction, standards, planning regulations, leasehold legislation
* Experience with construction contracts and their administration
* Experience of managing onsite health and safety compliance to CDM
* Experience managing relationships with stakeholders and contractors
* Knowledge and competency using CAD
* Previous experience managing similar projects
Essential Qualifications
* HNC or equivalent in a building related discipline
Desirable Qualifications
* Professional qualification in a property/building specialism (MCIOB, MRICS, MICE, etc.)
