Part-Time Residential Lettings Administrator
Start Date: April 2026
Minimum 16 hours per week (hours to be agreed with the successful candidate)
Whitlocks Lettings is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Residential Lettings Administrator to join our friendly team in Penzance from April 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in residential lettings or property administration who is looking for a flexible, part-time role within a professional local agency.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to the lettings team, including:
* Answering enquiries from the general public, booking viewings for applicants and diary management
* Carrying out property viewings with applicants
* Processing applications and carrying out referencing checks
* Carrying out periodic property inspections
* Preparing detailed inspection reports for landlords
* Arranging and coordinating maintenance works
* Liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors
* General office administration and database management
Requirements
* Previous experience in residential lettings or property administration (preferred but not essential)
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
* Full UK driving licence
* Use of own car (mileage will be paid)
* Confident using standard office systems and property software
