Payroll Specialist
Location: Glasgow – (Hybrid 2 days in the office)
Salary: £35,000
Contract: Full-time
Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional ready for your next challenge? We're currently recruiting for a well-established organisation in Glasgow that is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join their finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring payroll operations run smoothly, accurately, and in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Processing monthly payroll data across multiple departments
* Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all payroll calculations
* Managing general ledger entries and reconciling payroll accounts
* Handling queries from employees and internal teams
* Managing payments to tax authorities and overseeing deductions
* Supporting wider finance operations, including expense reimbursements
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a payroll-focused role
* Strong grasp of payroll systems, legislation, and best practices
* Confidence using payroll software and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent accuracy, organisation, and confidentiality
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
* Payroll-related qualification (desirable but not essential)
