Brook Street is recruiting a Financial Advisor for our client located in Lurgan.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality financial advice to an existing client base and developing new business.
Duties
1. Contact clients and set up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes or business premises.
2. Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provisions, and future aims.
3. Analyze information and prepare plans suited to individual clients' requirements.
4. Complete risk analyses.
5. Research the marketplace and inform clients about new and existing products and services.
6. Design financial strategies.
7. Assist clients in making informed decisions.
8. Research information from various sources, including providers of financial products.
9. Review and respond to clients' changing needs and financial circumstances.
10. Promote and sell financial products to meet sales targets.
11. Negotiate with product suppliers for favorable rates.
12. Liaise with head office and financial service providers.
13. Communicate with professionals such as estate agents, solicitors, and valuers.
14. Stay updated with financial products and legislation.
15. Produce financial reports.
16. Notify clients about new products or legislative changes affecting their investments.
17. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including disclosure and advising on costs and products.
Applicants should hold at least a Level 4 qualification in financial planning and be working towards chartered status.
Preference is for candidates with extensive advising experience; however, candidates with at least 3 years of experience will be considered.
The salary is negotiable based on experience.
