What you’ll be doing:
* Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store while actively participating in prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse, and replenishing shelves.
* Occasionally managing a full store operation overnight, taking responsibility for the entire shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
* Ensuring that standards are maintained at a high level for the morning opening to serve customers effectively.
* Managing people, including performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries, and ensuring accurate scheduling and pay.
Our nightshift managers work full-time hours over 4 nights, with a £4,500 premium on top of the base salary (shifts typically run from 22:00 to 08:00).
What makes a great nightshift manager:
* Comfortable with nightshift work and adaptable to its physical and mental impacts, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the team.
* Previous line management experience in a fast-paced, operational environment.
* Resilient to handle the mental and physical demands of night work.
* Provides excellent customer service and coaches the team to do the same.
* Experience in delivering and monitoring KPIs or performance indicators.
* Ability to manage disciplinary issues and employee relations.
* Capable of leading operations independently in the absence of senior management.
