Our History: Mead Care was founded by Mr David Mead in. We provide a number of Care Homes to include Specialist Dementia Services, Residential, Nursing and Day Care Provision.
What you’ll be doing as a Senior Carer/Team Leader
As a Senior Carer/Team Leader Care Assistant at Mead Care, you will be responsible for supervising and inspiring a dedicated team of Care Assistants. You will be primarily responsible for promoting and delivering person centred care, being mindful of each client’s age, gender, sexuality ethnicity and spiritual needs. You will be responsible for the smooth-running a of shift and supporting your team, administering medication, care planning, reviews, quality assurance, working with outside professionals, liaising with GP’s, District Nurses etc.
About you
You should have an SVQ Level 3 or working towards this, you will also need to complete at least 2 units of the SVQ level 4 to meet SSSC conditions. You will have had experience of working within elderly care. Dedicated and compassionate, you’ll pride yourself on your person centred, thoughtful approach to care. Be confident with computerised systems and email.
