Your new company Birmingham City Council is seeking experienced Senior Practitioners to join our Adults Social Care Community Project Teams. This is a key leadership role within frontline practice, supporting high-quality, citizen-focused social work across Adult Social Care. You will hold responsibility for either a complex caseload alongside supervisory duties, or for leading practice improvement activity that enhances outcomes for adults. Your new role Deliver high-quality statutory social work practice in line with the Care Act 2014 Provide professional oversight, supervision and support to Social Workers within a designated cluster Lead on complex cases, risk management and decision-making Support staff to meet duties under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and related legislation Model best practice, promote strengths-based approaches and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
