SAP Security Specialist
Full-time (39 hours a week), Permanent
Salary (depending on your experience) between £35-50k + benefits
This is a hybrid role (2 days in our Handforth Support Office / 3 days WFH)
Are you passionate about SAP security and ready to make a real impact in a dynamic IT environment? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven SAP Security Specialist to join our Group IT team and help shape the future of secure SAP operations across our business.
What you’ll do
As our SAP Security Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for managing user access controls, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks across our SAP landscape (ECC, CAR, BW, S4HANA, BTP). You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver secure, compliant, and efficient SAP systems.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage SAP access requests and user lifecycle via HEAT and Pathlock GRC.
* Develop and maintain secure role profiles and authorisations (including Fiori).
* Lead SAP security patching and EarlyWatch Alert reporting.
* Support audit readiness and compliance with SOX, GDPR, and ISO standards.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and 3rd party support partners to resolve incidents and enhance system security.

What you’ll bring:
Essential
* 3–5 years of hands-on SAP security experience (ECC & S4HANA).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience managing incidents and service requests.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with GRC tools (ARA, EAM, UAR).
* Understanding of Fiori roles and authorisations.
