Birmingham Airport are seeking a highly organised, analytical, and proactive Security Resource Lead to join their Security Business Support team. This is a key role responsible for building, managing and maintaining long-term resource planning and rosters for our Security Operation.

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Develop 6–52 week resource plans, translating airline schedules and forecasts into workforce requirements.
* Build seasonal and individual rosters aligned with demand, SLAs, working practices, and flexible working requests.
* Use planning tools to balance staffing supply, identify long-term resourcing gaps, and maintain accurate rostering and attendance systems.
* Produce monthly and annual reports, monitor annual leave, overtime, contractual hours, and ensure training compliance.
* Act as the main contact for roster queries, support onboarding, and manage contract or shift preference changes.
* Work closely with Security Operational Line Managers to meet staffing needs.
* Lead quarterly resource planning meetings, ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Department for Transport standards, and provide cover for mid- and short-term planning when required
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience creating and managing optimised staff rosters.
* Strong supervisory or team leadership background.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Ability to analyse complex data and turn it into effective staffing solutions.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Willingness to obtain and maintain Counter Terrorist Clearance.
* Commitment to maintaining safety, legal compliance, and best practices.
