Job Description
The Public Areas Cleaners are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in shared spaces such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other communal areas of the resort. This role ensures that public spaces remain tidy, welcoming, and safe for guests and staff.
The successful applicants must be available for shifts times of 7:00am - 3:00pm // 4:00am - 12:00pm // 3:00pm - 11:00pm. Availability is required across all shift times, and there may be an occasional assistance with overnight shifts required.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean and restock restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
* Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
* Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
* Maintain cleanliness in elevators, stairwells, and entryways.
* Report maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate department.
* Follow health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
* Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
* Availability across early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, depending on the location.
* This role involves repetitive tasks and the use of moderate-weight machinery, including pressure cleaners and floor scrubbers.
* The position requires standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
Qualifications
* Previous cleaning experience preferred.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
* Good communication skills to interactwith staff and guests.
