About the Role
Teach Now is working in partnership with a successful and ambitious secondary academy in Enfield seeking a dynamic PE Teacher to join their thriving Physical Education department.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students, promote healthy lifestyles and contribute to a strong sporting culture across the school. The successful candidate will teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates.
You will play an important role in delivering engaging PE lessons, supporting GCSE outcomes and encouraging students to develop confidence, teamwork and resilience through sport and physical activity.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
• Plan and deliver an engaging and inclusive PE curriculum
• Contribute to strong GCSE PE outcomes and student progress
• Lead and support extracurricular sport, clubs and inter-school fixtures
• Promote teamwork, resilience and leadership through sport
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, participation and effort
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, applicants must have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it
• Strong subject knowledge across a range of sports and physical activities
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A passion for sport, physical education and student wellbeing
• Experience coaching or supporting competitive sport or extracurricular activities
• A positive, energetic approach and the ability to motivate young people
• The right to work in the UK
