New Directions Education is currently recruiting Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary schools throughout Sefton, including Bootle, Litherland, Crosby, Formby, and Southport. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers seeking flexible work, whether you are looking for day-to-day supply, short-term cover, or longer-term placements.
This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work in different school settings.
The Role:
1. Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
2. Manage the classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
3. Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines
4. Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher
5. Uphold safeguarding policies and promote pupil wellbeing
6. Provide feedback to school staff at the end of each day
The Ideal Candidate:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
8. Experience teaching in primary school settings (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)
9. Confident, adaptable, and professional approach
10. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
11. Ability to build positive relationships quickly
12. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
13. Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide references covering the last 5 years
