Job Title: Clinical Lead – Families First Salary Grade: PO3 Salary: £43,247 to £46,077 per annum 35 Hours per Week Location: Tolladine Road, Worcester Fixed Term Contract, Maternity Leave Cover from 5th September 2025 – February 2026 The Role: The role of the Clinical Lead is a unique role where you manage and supervise 8 Emotional Health Wellbeing (EHWP) Practitioners who deliver interventions to adults and children who’s emotional health and wellbeing has been adversely impacted. The Clinical Lead will also hold a small caseload of more complex cases of this nature; the service works alongside colleagues from Children’s Social Care in order to support families overall intervention plan. Emotional Health and Wellbeing Practitioners are not a replacement for Adult Mental Health Services or Child and Adolescent Mental Heath Service. The interventions are principally working with individuals who are experiencing low mood, self-esteem challenges or anxiety. The Clinical Lead is responsible for ensuring that intervention is productive, timely and appropriate in terms of the presenting worries/concerns. In order to support the Clinical Lead in producing the optimum outcomes you will receive external clinical supervision and monthly supervision from the Group Manager who has operational responsibility for the service. In addition you will also participate in monthly team meetings with other leaders and managers with Families First. Emotional Health and Wellbeing is a valuable element of support from Children’s Social Care and the compliments from families evidence this.
