Contracts Manager
We are working with an established business and recruiting for a Contracts Manager to oversee and manage a range of steel construction and erection projects throughout the Midlands and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on Contracts Manager role with most of your time spent on active sites overseeing project delivery and teams including erectors and site managers.

What you will be doing:
•Provide cost-effective solutions for clients while maintaining company profit margins
•Build strong relationships with approved suppliers and source new suppliers to secure competitive pricing
•Maintain existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities through research, word of mouth, existing contacts, etc
•Manage project handovers and planning processes
•Carry out site surveys, inspections, scheduling and ensure project deadlines are met
•Liaise with management, design, production and installation teams to ensure contracts are delivered on time, to the required standards within budget, whilst maximising client satisfaction
•Respond methodically to changing client requirements while minimising disruption to live projects
•Prepare end-of-month client valuations and progress reports
•This role is not desk-based and requires regular presence across sites to manage operations effectively
What we are looking for:
•4 years’ experience with a strong background in construction of steel framed buildings
•Strong technical knowledge and broad understanding of disciplines within the industry
•Experienced in manage multiple projects and customer demands
•SMSTS, CSCS, NEBOSH, IOSH, preferred
•Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the Midlands and further afield, as required
•Due to customer requirements, this role will be subject to references, criminal record checks, with an up-to-date DBS certificate advantageous
