Bradford Theatres are looking to recruit an experienced Box Office Sales Clerk (part time) to join a busy dynamic Box Office sales team, working on a wide variety of shows and other projects across the four venues under the Bradford Theatres umbrella: Alhambra Theatre, St George’s Hall, The Studio in the city centre and King’s Hall & Winter Garden at Ilkley.

With existing experience in a sales / customer service role, this is an excellent opportunity for you to continue a career in a Box Office sales environment. You’ll be working with large scale visiting production companies such as Disney, National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, Northern Ballet, Matthew Bourne's New Adventures and The Dance Consortium. There is also a wide variety of medium and small scale shows which visit the venues, including the best in music, top stand-up comedians, one of the UK’s longest running Orchestral Seasons, as well as one of the most popular annual pantomimes in Yorkshire.

You will be a proactive member of the busy Box Office team which sells Bradford Theatres show tickets and other services to the general public, in person, over the telephone, by post, online and through Ticket Agencies. You will be required to maintain excellent standards of customer service, have excellent communication skills, demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative in a busy sales environment, and provide a helpful, courteous information and enquiry service to members of the public at all times.

To meet the fluctuating demands of a busy Box Office, you must be able to demonstrate:
\n
•\tMinimum of 12 months’ continuous experience of dealing with customers over the telephone and face to face on the front line in a busy working environment
\n
•\tAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with members of the public and other Theatres staff and council departments
\n
•\tAbility to process bookings / payments in cash, cheque, gift voucher and credit/debit card using a CRM & ticketing system
\n
•\tAbility to use standard and non-standard IT systems and packages
\n
