Job Description
Joining IPS as a Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Co-pack Operation to meet planned volume and commercial targets in accordance with Quality and Safety standards. You will be a role model for best practice at all times, delivering cost savings through innovation and supporting the site.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40-hour week.
Key Duties of a Production Manager
1. Primary point of contact with the Customer.
2. Maximise production efficiency to ensure plans are met daily.
3. Motivate a team to meet production targets.
4. Ensure final products meet client specifications.
5. Utilise onsite Warehouse Management systems.
6. Adhere to and promote best practices in health, safety, and quality regulations.
7. Complete all paperwork and systems accurately per company procedures.
8. Maintain compliance with hygienic audits, both internal and external.
9. Strictly follow GMP and housekeeping standards.
10. Assist in developing a skills matrix for production workers.
11. Attend meetings and relevant training courses.
12. Identify and develop Line Leaders for success planning.
13. Train and develop new starters.
14. Be a role model for best practice.
15. Monitor, control, and minimise waste.
16. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Experience in a production or co-pack environment.
* Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
* Positive and clear communication skills.
* Knowledge of procedures and compliance.
* Strong planning, organising, and prioritising skills.
* Commitment to responding to customer needs.
* Ability to meet targets and KPIs.
* Focus on continuous improvement and best practices.
