Support and Housing Management Coordinator - Redburn HouseLocation: Redburn House, New Brancepeth, DH7 7HZWorking Hours: Part Time 30 Hours per WeekContract Type: Fixed Term Contract until 31/03/2027Salary: £25,877.80 £34,240 (pro rata)Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. Join our team at Waythrough and support people facing challenges around mental health, substance use, housing or domestic abuse. This is more than just a job its a chance to build meaningful relationships and create lasting change.About the RoleAs a Support and Housing Management Coordinator, you will provide a combination of housing management and person-centred support, helping individuals to develop the skills and confidence needed to live independently.This role includes a mix of supported accommodation-based work and outreach support in the community. Youll work with individuals before they join the service, during their stay, and after they leave, ensuring continuity of support and positive outcomes.Youll manage a small caseload and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport in managing a portfolio of supported accommodation, ensuring effective tenancy managementComplete needs and risk assessments, developing and reviewing support plansSupport individuals to build independent living skillsAssist with housing benefit claims, rent payments, and managing arrearsDeliver tenancy readiness support where requiredProvide outreach support before, during, and after residencySupport residents in accessing services and engaging within the communityWork collaboratively with internal teams and external partnersMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with organisational policiesPromote safeguarding and the wellbeing of all service usersAbout YouWere looking for someone who:Has experience supporting vulnerable individuals (e.g.

homelessness, mental health, substance misuse, offending behaviour)Understands the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessnessHas knowledge of risk assessments and support planningHas strong communication and organisational skillsCan work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentIs confident managing a caseload and working in a community settingEssential RequirementsFull UK driving licenceAccess to your own vehicle (essential due to outreach requirements)Additional InformationThis role involves lone working, with support available from the wider teamThe service operates in a dynamic environment supporting individuals with complex needsIf youre looking for a meaningful role where you can genuinely impact lives, wed love to hear from you.What We OfferWe value the people who make a difference every day.
