About the Role
As a Senior Social Worker, you will:
* Lead on the Early Identification of Family and Friends Carers, helping to secure stable, long-term care arrangements within children's extended family networks.
* Assess, support, and retain foster carers within the Local Authority, ensuring children and young people receive safe, resilient, and loving care.
* Manage a varied caseload and work alongside other Senior Social Workers, Social Workers and Support Officers to deliver high-quality assessments and support to families.
What We're Looking For
* Experienced, motivated senior-level social workers with a strong understanding of kinship care and/or mainstream fostering.
* A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and families.
* Excellent communication, assessment, and team-working skills.
