A progressive Brent primary school seeks a proactive and strategic SENCO to begin from January 2026. This SENCO will lead on inclusion, develop bespoke provision and build capacity across the school. The successful SENCO will undertake planning prior to January 2026, participate in a detailed induction in January 2026, and will assume full SENCO duties from January 2026. The role - SENCO The SENCO will lead a whole-school approach to SEND, review and improve interventions, ensure robust monitoring and reports, and support teacher development. As SENCO you will coordinate with parents and external professionals and ensure statutory processes (EHC needs assessments and reviews) are managed effectively. The SENCO will start the improvement plan before January 2026 and will deliver key milestones throughout the spring term after January 2026. SENCO Candidate profile We are looking for a SENCO with the national award, strong experience in primary SEND leadership and excellent multi-agency working skills. The SENCO must be available for pre-term planning before January 2026, for induction in January 2026, and to lead from January 2026.
