The Role
As a homeless assistant administrator, you will support the homeless team at Derby City Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service by managing data, maintaining records related to housing status, and compiling data returns for our commissioners.
The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week. You will be part of a passionate and skilled team.
To join us as a homeless assistant administrator, you will need:
* To provide administrative and secretarial support
* Take minutes at meetings and distribute them
* Photocopy documents, ensuring confidentiality
* Maintain filing systems
* Liaise with staff and outside agencies as necessary
* Maintain record keeping and data analysis
* Log incoming referrals and allocate to the correct locality team
* Use and maintain databases
* Handle post and maintain records
* Perform reception duties, including being the first point of contact for clients
* Attend training sessions, especially in Information Systems and IT
* Work in accordance with Phoenix Futures’ policies on equality and diversity
* Undertake other tasks related to this role
* Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word, and familiar with database systems
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Understand complex community issues
* Be determined, eager to learn, and passionate about making a difference
