We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Stores Operative/Driver to join our client's team in Hampden Park, Eastbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer in a key operational role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a small Luton shuttle vehicle to transport stock between the warehouse and main factory (short distance).
* Assist with general stores duties including stock handling, organisation, and inventory support.
* Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods between sites.
* Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of the vehicle and storage areas.
* Elements of manual handling and heavy lifting
* Offloading and decanting stock from the van to forklift/warehouse
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 37 hours per week
Pay & Benefits:
* £14.81 per hour
* Weekly pay (one week in arrears)
* Immediate start available
Requirements:
* Valid UK driving licence (essential)
* Experience in a stores or warehouse environment preferred
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
