We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Trade Counter Assistant to join our team at the Electrical Counter.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will be serving electricians and contractors daily. You will be the first point of contact at the counter, helping customers find what they need, answering questions, and keeping things moving in a busy trade environment.
Building strong working relationships will be a key part of the role. Our customers rely on us for knowledge, efficiency, and great service, so confidence and a proactive attitude are essential.
While there will be some telephone enquiries and the occasional outbound calls to existing customers, the focus is on delivering excellent face-to-face service and creating a positive experience every time someone walks through the door.
Salary is dependent on experience.
Your Duties:
Serving customers efficiently at the counter, ensuring a smooth and professional experience
Providing product advice and practical solutions tailored to customer requirements
Handling incoming calls, responding to enquiries and preparing accurate quotations
Proactively supporting existing and dormant accounts when required
Assisting with light warehouse duties and working closely with the team to keep operations running smoothly
What We're Looking For:
Previous electrical wholesale experience preferred
Confident dealing with trade customers in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, organised, and proactive in your approach
A team player who's happy to get stuck in
Available to work 1 in 3 Saturdays (08:00 – 12:00)
