About the Role : We're looking for Sr. Manager - BAU (Payroll Operations) - Europe, who is responsible for managing and administering payroll processes using Mercans payroll systems while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for Mercans European Clients. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of payroll best practices, and the ability to partner with the clients and other business units to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Must Haves :
* Experience: 10 - 24 Years of hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processing across European countries for external clients
* Work Location: Anywhere -: India, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, United Kingdom or Ireland (As it's a Remote Opportunity)
* We are specifically looking for candidates from payroll outsourcing companies who have hands-on experience in managing payroll for external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage the global payroll operations team to ensure efficient payroll processing and SaaS service delivery.
● Implement automation-driven service enhancements, integrating AI, process automations, and machine learning into payroll workflows.
● Work with Product & Development teams to optimize payroll technology and SaaS platform capabilities.
● Ensure strict adherence to SLAs, delivering high-quality payroll services across all clients.
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
● Implement client governance frameworks, ensuring consistent and structured engagement with key accounts.
● Establish and maintain comprehensive process documentation for all payroll operations and workflows.
● Ensure alignment with contractual agreements, ensuring scope compliance in service delivery.
● Develop and track payroll SLAs across all clients.
● Provide monthly insights and recommendations to senior management.
● Conduct bi-annual employee and client satisfaction surveys, targeting 90%+ satisfaction rates.
