NRL are working with a very well established business based in Redcar who require a Bookkeeper to join their team, this will be a permanent position.
You will be responsible for bookkeeping day to day tasks.
What you’ll do:
Keep our day-to-day accounts up-to-date – sales, purchases, expenses, payments
Raise invoices, process supplier bills, and chase unpaid invoices
Reconcile the bank and keep cash flow under control
Prepare VAT returns and assist with payroll using Xero software
Produce simple reports so the team knows exactly where the business stands
Work with our accountant for year-end accountsWhat we’re looking for:
Bookkeeping experience, ideally in a small business
Comfortable with accounting software Xero
Knows the basics of UK VAT
Accurate, organised, and proactive
Can work independently and take ownership
