Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Administrator to join our friendly team at our Lutterworth site on a full-time, permanent basis!
Salary: £25,372 per annum.
Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm.
As an Operations Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day site operation through general site, facilities, H&S, and compliance activities. You will offer outstanding and organized support in a friendly environment and provide a helpful service.
Key Duties of an Operations Administrator
* Monitoring of the H&S Accident portal, ensuring any accidents, incidents, and near misses are comprehensively reported and actioned.
* Collating monthly site H&S check information and issuing/monitoring actions.
* Note-taking and issuing of monthly H&S meeting minutes, accurately following up on any actions.
* Booking contractors for remedial works and communicating with the site accordingly.
* Issuing permits to work when required.
* Managing the diary for monthly contractor services and inspections.
* Requesting quotes for site repairs.
* Scheduling BRC internal audits and communicating with the site accordingly.
* Managing site inbound and outbound post.
* Managing meeting rooms and catering requirements.
* Adhoc site purchasing for all departments in a cost-effective manner.
* Organising hotels and transport arrangements.
Qualifications
* Experience working in an administrative team in a logistics/warehouse environment.
* Ability to communicate positively and clearly with colleagues and external stakeholders.
* Good team worker demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the organization and team members.
* Knowledge of company procedures and active compliance.
* Professional, approachable, and helpful to ensure smooth operations.
* Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills.
