Key duties
* Providing personal care – bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding assistance
* Medication administration
* Assisting with and participating in residents’ daily activities, hobbies or outings
* Following care plan guidance alongside company policies and procedures
* Developing an open, honest and considerate relationship with residents
* Maintaining written daily records
* Attending and completing required training
Personal Attributes
Being patient, reliable, flexible, a team player and a good communicator are key characteristics of a successful Social Care Worker.

Where will you work?
Rowan Cottage is a large bungalow‑style house converted from two semi‑detached properties in the village of Burghfield, five miles south west of Reading. The home provides residential support for eight men with mild to moderate learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs. It features a safe, enclosed garden with an outdoor covered area and a dedicated day‑care building for activities. The cottage has close links with local charities for volunteer work and has its own transport for trips to the gym, swimming or other destinations.
