| Banking Solicitor | Birmingham | Leading Firm | £73k - £80k | The Opportunity A reputable national law firm is seeking a Banking Solicitor (2–5 years’ PQE) to join its established banking law team in Birmingham. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of matters for both lenders and borrowers. You will work on high-quality matters, including those that cross international boundaries. Team Overview The team advises an impressive mix of banks, alternative lenders, funds and corporate clients. Work includes acquisition and development financing, bilateral and syndicated lending, secured lending arrangements and broader corporate finance matters. The team is highly ranked in both Chambers and Legal 500. Key Responsibilities Advising on banking transactions including leveraged finance, real estate finance and corporate lending. Drafting and negotiating facility documents, security packages and related finance agreements. Acting for both lenders and borrowers across a range of industries. Managing your own caseload with partner support where needed. Developing strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to team know-how. About You Qualified Solicitor with 2–5 years' PQE in banking law. Solid technical understanding of finance documentation and lending structures. Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills. Confident managing your workload while working as part of a collaborative team. Motivated, proactive and keen to develop your expertise in banking law.
