The governors of Irk Valley Community School are seeking to appoint an outstanding, talented and enthusiastic SEND teacher to join our committed team for a year.
This is a teaching role for a new SEND class of predominantly Year 1 pupils, working on Early Learning Goals and their own targets in line with the National Curriculum.
Because this is a new role, you will be able to play a part in developing how the class operates.
About the Candidate
The successful candidate must:
* Have at least 3 years teaching experience
* Have significant experience of working with pupils with SEND
* Have a thorough understanding of how to safeguard the welfare of pupils and a commitment to doing so
* Be able to plan and deliver highly effective lessons every day
* Have a strong commitment to inclusion of all pupils
* Be able to use creative, interactive, and engaging teaching methods to bring life to all levels of the national curriculum, to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
