Project Manager - Industrial Projects

This is not a paper-pushing Project Manager role.
This is for someone who knows how to own complex industrial projects, manage risk, and deliver safely in high-pressure environments.
Our client is a well-established industrial services business operating nationally, delivering technically challenging projects across heavy engineering, lifting, machinery installation, and industrial relocation.
They are growing and they need a Project Manager who can lead from the front.
The Role:
You will take full responsibility for end-to-end delivery of industrial projects, from planning through execution to handover.
That means:
Owning project scope, programme, cost, and safety
Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers
Managing RAMS, lifting plans, and method statements
Acting as the primary client interface
Anticipating problems before they become incidents
Delivering projects on time, safely, and profitably
This role requires decisive leadership, not supervision from the sidelines.

You'll likely come from:
Industrial services
Heavy lifting / crane operations
Engineering installation
Mechanical or electrical project delivery
Industrial maintenance or relocation projects
You should bring:
Proven project management experience in industrial or engineering environments
Strong understanding of site safety and risk management
Confidence dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholders
The ability to manage multiple moving parts without losing control
A practical, solutions-led mindset
Formal PM qualifications are useful, real-world delivery experience matters more.
